Market Wrap: Hong Kong stocks gain on US easing hopes; Cheung Kong gains

Hong Kong stocks ended higher, led by Hong Kong-based property developers, buoyed by speculation that this week's Fed meeting will announce a new round of quantitative easing measures which could boost asset prices and sentiment was also lifted by Chinese government comments hinting at scope for further easing in China.
