Beijing 'may adjust' banks' reserve policy
The mainland might adjust the reserve requirements for banks to stimulate the economy if data today shows manufacturing weakening, according to the ANZ Banking Group. "The policy window is still open," Liu Ligang, chief China economist at ANZ in Hong Kong, said yesterday. Key indicators, including industrial production and power consumption, showed the economy was slowing faster than normal, Liu said. Bloomberg
