Nikkei slips ahead of China PMI data

Japan’s Nikkei share average inched lower in early trade on Thursday ahead of China’s manufacturing data, after month-end buying in the previous session saw the index close up for the month. The Nikkei dipped 0.2 per cent to 8,908.55, while the broader Topix index slipped 0.1 per cent to 741.56.
