Quantitative easing created inflation-free US growth, Fed official says





The US Federal Reserve's unconventional monetary policies have lowered borrowing costs and boosted growth without creating unwanted inflation, a top Fed official has said, predicting the central bank's latest asset-buying round will exceed US$600 billion.
