China GDP grew 7.9 pc in Q4; 7.8 pc for 2012 overall

The Chinese economy expanded 7.9 per cent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2012, and grew 7.8 per cent for the whole of 2012, the National Bureau of Statistics said, as the world’s second-largest economy snapped seven straight quarters of slowing growth.
