Julius Baer eyes Asian nouveau riche, particularly Chinese

Swiss private bank Julius Baer is looking to double its headcount in Asia by 2015 – and it also wants to tap the growing pool of newly rich to more than double the proportion of its Asian assets.

“On net bases, we would more than double our staff between now and 2015 in Asia,” Boris Collardi, chief executive officer at Julius Baer told The South China Morning Post in an interview.
