Bloomberg boss writes second apology over privacy breach
Bloomberg chief executive Daniel Doctoroff has sent out a second written apology in a bid to restore confidence among 315,000 clients worldwide after a privacy breach that has sent shockwaves through the banking and regulatory world.
On Tuesday morning Hong Kong time, all Bloomberg users globally received a message on their Bloomberg terminals from Doctoroff, who was penning his second apology in less than a week.
“There’s nothing more important to us at Bloomberg than communicating openly and honestly about our company,” he said in the opening line of the letter.
