Asian airlines to lead 20pc increase in 2013 earnings on capacity cuts: IATA

Carriers are likely to generate net income of US$12.7 billion this year, the industry group said yesterday. That compares with a forecast of US$10.6 billion issued on March 20 and represents a 67 per cent gain on last year's profit of US$7.6 billion.
