Dalian Wanda sails off with luxury yachtmaker Sunseeker International

Two separate deals worth more than HK$12 billion underline Dalian Wanda Group’s international ambitions, as it takes over a British luxury yacht-maker and agrees to build a commercial development in central London.

Both deals reflect the growing international profile of China’s largest commercial property and entertainment conglomerate.

Wanda will take 91.81 per cent of Sunseeker, with the rest being held by management, in a total investment estimated at 320 million pounds (HK$3.9 billion). The transaction is expected to close by mid-August.
