Heir of Formosa chief sues Hong Kong firms

Winston Wong, the eldest son and estate administrator of deceased Taiwan petrochemicals tycoon Wang Yung-ching, sued two Hong Kong companies, claiming they misappropriated US$4 billion in assets.

The city's High Court named Wong administrator of his father's estate on May 2.

Wong filed a lawsuit yesterday against Jao Chien-fang and Chang Pen-yuan, formerly his father's financial advisers, as well as Hua Yang Investment (HK) and Winson International Investments.
