Apollo's US$2.5b Cooper deal in jeopardy

Apollo wants to reduce its US$35-a-share offer to as low as US$26 and has adopted delaying tactics to attempt to back out of the agreement, which expires on December 31, according to a complaint from Cooper to the Delaware Chancery Court.
