Chinese companies end the year as Asia's top borrowers

Chinese firms were the biggest borrowers of 2013, more than doubling the amount of money they raised on the previous year in the onshore syndicated loan market and nearly matching that feat offshore, according to the latest industry data which also reveals mainland banks were the region's top lenders.
