China Mobile profit slips 8.5pc

China Mobile, the world’s largest wireless network operator by number of subscribers, reported an 8.5 per cent year-on-year drop in first-half net profit to 57.7 billion yuan (HK$72.6 billion) in an increasingly saturated telecommunications market.
