IPO hopefuls to face off against Alibaba for investment capital

After a summer holiday lull, listing hopefuls in Hong Kong including China Auto Rental will engage in head-to-head competition with Alibaba, which is starting a two-week roadshow this week for its US$21 billion initial public offering.
