Vice Premier Ma Kai pledges support for Hong Kong-Shanghai stock connect scheme

Beijing is untroubled by the low turnover under the cross-border stock trading scheme, Vice-Premier Ma Kai told Hong Kong bankers in comments in Beijing yesterday that also pledged more support to the city as an offshore yuan centre.
