World Bank cuts China 2012 growth forecast to 7.7 pc

China’s economy is set to grow a slower-than-expected 7.7 per cent in 2012, from 9.3 per cent last year, but stimulus measures would push it back above 8.0 per cent in 2013, the World Bank said on Monday.
